Barbara and Kelly (Mother and Daughter), draw their inspiration fro the natural world. Living in Devon, the sea is a very big part of that inspiration. They try to capture the movement and 'roll' of a wave in their larger pieces. Using different shades of glass, light / shade and with frit ( glass pieces and powder), the mood of the wave is captured.

Working out of a small laundry room in Kelly's home in Plymouth, cheek to cheek with the washing machine and their precious kilns, 'Mona and Beryl' and of course with each other. Although sometimes a close fit, their close relationship enables them to work well with each other and create their artwork.
